The COVID-19 pandemic has posed new challenges to everyone. We used to spend most of our time in the work environment, and this dynamic has changed.
By reimagining the ideal office space for approximately 200 employees, we identified the areas in common architectural layouts that need to be re-designed.
Our design proposals aim to create a workplace where employees feel safe in a collaborative environment.
We focused on maintaining a harmonious workplace without barriers. The proposed solutions keep the space flexible while implementing new safety guidelines to protect individuals.
While maintaining an open office layout, a new office has been designed to comply with social distancing regulations and hot-desking strategy whereby multiple people use it on different days.
The finishes palette and textures include a selection of low-absorption coefficient materials with a short time survival rate of viruses, such as large porcelain tiles, copper, medical-grade vinyl coating, and recyclable paper, which are applied to the architectural elements and furniture.
